These authors say, in the Abstract: "Our data thus hint that reversing TSCM defects by metabolic targeting of the Wnt/β-catenin pathway may be a viable approach to restore and preserve immune homeostasis in the context of immunological history."

In the adultstemcellregeneration.com page "What's Going On?" Adult Stem Cell Regeneration LLC says their method of "metabolic targeting of the WNT/Beta-catenin pathway" is a "viable approach to restore and preserve immune homeostasis" not only in immunological history, but in a large set of adult stem cells above and beyond the immune system:

"Pterostilbene probably acts as a regeneration signal to mtor in the niche by blocking the mtor signal that turns off, or down, the contact with wnt. The mtor signal represses wnt signaling and pterostilbene reduces the repression. Wnt then signals LGR5 or other stem cells to start a new cell cycle of growth or to awaken their senescent cell cycles which results in new, or regenerated, stem cells and new tissue cells. This wnt signal is heavily dependent on a high concentration of Cysteine. Adolesce supplies the cysteine by way of NAC, n-acetylcysteine. But the signal needs to find cells with energy and enzymes and co-enzymes, such as vitamins (2), ready to take part in the making of new protein and ultimately new cells with new mitochondria generating the ATP chemical energy, aided by the NAD+ precursors of nicotinamide roboside (vitamin b3) which Adolesce also presents. The website and this statement have existed since 2017. We presented the empirical evidence for the conclusion demonstrated by Adolesce: Adult Stem Cells Get Regenerated by its use. Of course Adolesce's empirical evidence also substantiates Kared, Larbi, et al. conjecture, "hint" that TSCM ( T Stem Cells Memory CD4 [see paper's title above]) can be restored and immune homeostasis preserved. Which is what Adolesce asserts that it has accomplished, and does accomplish.

adultstemcellregeneration.com is not snake oil: it does the job. One of the adult stem cells it regenerates is the hematopoietic bone marrow stem cells. This gives high cd4/cd8 ratios and strong immune systems. Takes a few months. My ratio came back 2.89 and 2.0 is nominal.
It is my opinion, now with hard evidence in hand, that the world should start taking Adolesce twice a day and regenrate their adult stem cells and gain all the benefits that that statement implies.

If your ratio is higher than 2, it means your immune system is strong..." Immediate result from Google Search 'normal cd4:cd8 ratio of healthy adults'. This shows a 44% improvement over normal.

And we need tests that prove adult stem cells have been regenerated rather than just deduce they have been regenerated because hair only grows from stem cells, and saliva and tears do not start after years of dryness unless stem cells have regenerated senescent cells. New and thicker skin can only come from stem cell regeneration, as well as new muscle mass. Tests for definitive molecules, like LGR5+, having increased may well prove the hypothesis.
