🌟 Team Spotlight | Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence 🌟
Today, we are proud to celebrate Nikki, a COTA and Director of Rehabilitation at Reliant’s only children’s hospital, Truman Smith, as she marks 15 incredible years with Reliant.
Nikki is widely recognized for her deep knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation and her unwavering dedication to the children she serves. As an integral leader at Truman Smith, she collaborates closely not only with her rehab team, but also with respiratory therapists and specialized equipment providers to meet the ever-changing needs of children from birth through age 21.
Our Administrator shared just a few of the many lives Nikki has helped transform:
💙 Montrei Fogle arrived at Truman following a devastating motor vehicle accident. Nikki took ownership of his recovery, becoming involved in every aspect of his care. Today, Montrei is back in the community, living a successful and independent life.
💙 Kelsie, who arrived after a traumatic brain injury, had one heartfelt goal — to fix her hair and apply makeup again. With Nikki’s guidance and encouragement, Kelsie achieved that goal and so much more.
💙 Baby Eric came to Truman at just 10 months old with a trach and feeding tube. Today, he is breathing on his own, taking oral feeds, and walking with support. Nikki is confident he will soon be walking independently and won’t need a wheelchair.
Reliant — and Nexion — are incredibly proud to have Nikki on our team. Her passion, leadership, and heart for pediatric care continue to change lives every single day. 💫
