The most common thing I see by the time a client finds me, is that they’ve reached a breaking point in some area of their life. The stress has caused them to burn out, affecting their work, health or relationships, They have no energy, can’t sleep, can’t focus and it’s hard to get out of bed. Why am I so passionate about managing the effects of stress?
I have had clients that before they came to me the stress has put them in the hospital. It has presented as symptoms of heart attack, panic attack, irregular heartbeat. And the inability to get out of bed! It has presented as irregular labs that otherwise don’t make sense. It looks like insulin resistance and pre diabetes. Lipids that are out of line and a hormone s**t storm.
I’ve had clients in tears saying they really just can’t take it anymore and they need to turn the ship around.
Let me tell you about my own mother. Amazing strong woman was so stressed with work that one of her co workers took her to the ER while at work. And my mom wanted to go to the meeting instead….
At first they thought she had a small heart attack but after multiple tests and an overnight stay in the hospital it was diagnosed as stress.
You think you’re doing the right thing for your family by pushing through but let me tell you from personal experience as family the member on the other side. We want you here and we want you healthy and whole so please take care of yourself.
