People often question how tapping can work for them. You know how sometimes you can’t stop thinking about a certain negative thing, and it’s really upsetting you? You might try to think positively so you can get rid of the negative thoughts or emotions…but it seems like the harder you try to get rid of that yucky feeling the more you feel it in your body?

Maybe you feel it by anxiety in the pit of your stomach or a lump in your throat. When you use tapping it sort of bridges a gap between your body and mind, helping you to relax the body and calm the brain. It works well with busy schedules, it’s easy and convenient, and makes you feel better in a matter of minutes.

It is common for parents at this day in age to feel like they always need to be doing more. Being exhausted at the end of a long day is a sign that you did a lot of things, and you accomplished your goals. For many parents it is an endless cycle, no matter how much you accomplish you feel as though you need to do more.

Many parents realize that they need a break, but the thought of taking a break, and caring for themselves is actually uncomfortable, and can cause guilt.

It’s important to realize that by expecting anyone to do more & more, without taking time for themselves, turns into major loss over time. Loss of patience. Loss of health. Loss of energy. Loss of well-being. Remember that you and your kids deserve the best of you. All you need is a few minutes a day minimum, to reset some of that stress.

Do you or someone you know have high functioning anxiety? It’s a lot more common than one might think, and it’s actually a trauma response!

Some people assume you need anxiety to get things done. Becoming reliant on anxiety to push them forward. However, the truth is, you can clear out that anxiety, and still make wise & motivated choices!

At the end of the day, anxiety is a form of fear. And when we make fear based decisions, we are in fight or flight response. High functioning or not, fear is still fear. Once we can let that go, and clear it from the body— decisions become easier, and life becomes happier.

Ever have those days where you wake up, you’re feeling great, you feel good about yourself, and everything just seems to go perfect and smoothly? You hit only green lights heading to work, someone buys your coffee in line ahead of you, you find an abandoned $10 bill on the sidewalk. You really become excited because one good thing leads to another good thing… And then another good thing.

On the contrary do you ever have those days where you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? You are thinking/feeling very negative, and everything just seems to go wrong? You stub your toe getting dressed, spill your coffee on the way out the door, and hit every single red light. It’s really as though the more you focus on the negative, the more negative things seem to happen.

No, not every day is going to be the perfect day, but the type of thoughts running through our mind will make all the difference. If you can find a way you interrupt a negative thought with a positive one, you can easily shift your vibration. Turning your bad day into a good one!
