Update: you know nothing is ever normal with me.
I've got an infection on my incision (it split open & it's gross) which can happen with radiation & immunotherapy being so close together. Or it can be my body rejecting the metal plate.
If it's not better by Wed, when I see my surgeon again, I'll have surgery to have the plate removed.
She's got me on antibiotics for now & bandaged me up. I have to clean it and Breezy has been putting new bandages on it. It's still tender, nasty & draining.
So I'll take any prayers you got.

It's official it has not spread anywhere else!
I start immunotherapy 8/10. It will be an hour infusion and I'll go every 3 then 6 weeks for a year total of treatment.
No driving for 6 months as they want me on the anti-seizure meds.
I'll get the other blood work back in a few weeks that will determine if there any mutations.
I can sit in a rocking chair on the deck for my infusion should I choose, so that made me happy lol A book, cup of coffee & porch just missing Mornin lol

Tomorrow will be my 1st radiation appointment. Here's what it is:
Stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)
SBRT uses a coordinate system to precisely pinpoint tumors in the body. This therapy uses high doses of radiation over a shorter period of time with optimal accuracy.
They are basically using a GPS on my brain to pin point the area where the tumor was removed. We are making sure the cancer will be dead dead. Pray my anxiety stays under control as I will be screwed to table.
