The other day I had a slight headache that lingered all day. It sounds small, but it affected everythingâmy focus, my mood, and my productivity. Iâm pretty sensitive to sugar and refined carbs, and Iâd indulged in a few treats at my choir concerts over the weekend. That little choice had a ripple effect.
It reminded me of how much our daily wellness choices matterâespecially as moms and grandmoms. I remember the exhausting days of being a young mom with debilitating allergies, trying to build a business while just getting through the day. The energy it takes just to be a mom is enormous. Add in fatigue or illness, and it can feel overwhelming to do much beyond survival.
But I believe God has planted dreams in each of our heartsâdreams that are meant to be lived out. When we donât feel well, those dreams can get buried under the weight of everyday struggles. And with all the health advice out there, itâs easy to feel paralyzed and end up doing⌠nothing.
Thatâs why I created Planted & Well. Itâs a space for simple, sustainable wellness. A space to encourage one another and build two foundational habits that boost our energy and vitalityânow, and for years to come.
I have a vision of a world where moms and families feel their bestâbody, mind, and spiritâso they can live their dreams instead of just dreaming them.
As 3 John 1:2 says,
âDear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.â
So hereâs to getting planted, growing strong, and walking wellâtogether. đ
