Asking me if I believe in magic is like asking the Pope if he’s Catholic. I’m sitting in my office at the wellness center where I also serve as a director; typing this on my Reiki table lined entirely with crystals. I’m surrounded by statues, icons, and spiritual symbols from countless belief systems, nestled between two towering shelves I call the Pillars of Solomon’s Temple, each holding over a hundred healing crystals. Magic isn’t something I “believe in”; it’s the atmosphere I live in.
