Join us in congratulating Sairy Cohen for being selected as a ! She is currently a Technical Account Manager at Wiz and has held several impressive roles at CVS, Google, and NASA.

Sairy is deeply committed to empowering and uplifting the Borderplex community and even helped create internships and full-time opportunities for students at UTEP and NMSU during her time at Google. Congratulations to the 96 students who graduated from the Texas Tech Health El Paso Hunt School of Nursing – 94 Bachelor of Science in Nursing graduates and two Master of Science in Nursing recipients! 🩺

Since opening in 2012, the nursing school has graduated nearly 1,600 nurses, of which 90% have stayed in the Borderplex to support our regional healthcare needs.

🌟 This year, we celebrate a historic milestone: the first commencement of Texas Tech Health El Paso Woody L. Hunt School of Dental Medicine – the first new dental school in Texas in over 50 years and the only one on the U.S.-Mexico border.

The Class of 2025 includes 40 graduates who took a chance on a new institution and have already provided over 6,000 low-cost procedures to community members. Their work is improving lives, expanding access to care, and shaping the future of healthcare in the Borderplex.
