Hi All!!!
I have an invitation for YOU!! I am teaching a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction ONLINE Course (I am Brown University Certified Teacher) and would like to offer scholarships (both partial and FULL) for anyone that wants to learn to meditate, or practice mindfulness, or you want to continue learning + practicing with a community of others!!
This is an 8-week class, we meet LIVE online on Wednesday nights from 530-8 pm ET and we have an all-day Saturday class Feb 24 (830-4pm).
Orientation is Jan 17th and class starts Jan 24th. Attendance to all classes is IMPORTANT as they build upon one another.
We focus on mindful practices of;
Sitting meditation
Body Scans
Mindful Eating
Mindful Communication
Walking meditation
Gentle Yoga, Energy Practices, and Qigong
We dive into recent research around neuroscience + neuroplasticity (our ability to change habitual thinking), we discuss stress reactivity and how we are meeting challenge in our life, and how to meet challenge with more skill and resilience.
