Today at Atria Center City the residents enjoyed chair yoga and chair massages. We host chair yoga once a week, chair fitness once a week, and chair massages on the first Tuesday of each month.
We also visit Brightview each Tuesday for chair yoga and Simpson Meadows for chair Tai Chi each Tuesday and twice a month for chair massages.
We chat about wellness often. Jess spoke with residents, nurses, and care givers today about taking time for themselves so they can fully be there for others. Ask for help and know that respite care is available.
We all need a break.
No one can do it alone.
When you’re feeling burnout, low energy, mentally, emotionally, and/or physically drained, do something for YOU!
Yoga, Tai Chi, Massage, Meditation, are all great ways to escape the tough moments and days.
Speak up.
It’s okay to be vulnerable. Someone else will be able to relate.
