We’re proud to be partnering with , a nonprofit doing incredible work in our community. Love Heals supports cancer patients and other individuals facing critical illnesses and medical hardships by raising funds to help with medical expenses. They bring people together through live music, hosting benefit concerts that not only raise awareness but also provide real, tangible support for those in need. 100% of the money raised goes towards brave individuals facing medical hardship. Each show centers on their story, championing them to be heard and giving the community a chance to be a part of a life-changing night-- because no one should walk through hardship alone.

Join us on Saturday, August 30th, where we’ll be offering free assisted stretches at their upcoming concert — all in the name of wellness, support, and community. Enjoy music performed by Tony Camm, Ken Jamarillo and more.

“HOW LONG SHOULD I STRETCH?”

We get this question all the time, and it is a bit of a loaded question.

❓How often should you stretch?
✅ Ideally: every day for 20 minutes per day.
✅ Realistically: 3–4 times per week for 10-15 minutes.
💪 Assisted stretches? 1–3x a week is where the magic happens.

❓How long should you hold the stretches?
✅ Each stretch should be held at least 10-15 seconds.This allows time for your nervous system to breathe a sigh of relief.
✅ Try not to bounce or go to pain while in the stretch. Discomfort can be okay, but never pain.

Today we say goodbye to someone very special — our amazing admin, Savanna. 🫶

Savanna has been the friendly face and calming presence at the front of InMotion Wellness Studio, and we’re so grateful for the care, energy, and positivity she’s brought to our space every single day.

From welcoming new clients to keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes — she’s been a huge part of what makes our studio feel like home. 🏡✨

You’ve heard them. Maybe you’ve even believed them. Let’s clear the air so you can stretch smarter (and feel better)

🔥 1. “Stretching before a workout prevents injury.”
👉 Busted: Static stretching before exercise can actually reduce performance. Do dynamic stretches instead to prep your muscles for movement.

🛌 2. “You should only stretch when you’re sore.”
👉 Busted: Stretching is best used consistently—not just as a reaction to soreness. It can prevent stiffness, not just treat it.

⏱️ 3. “Hold every stretch for 60+ seconds.”
👉 Busted: Quality > time. 20 seconds is enough for most static stretches, especially when done correctly or with assistance.

🧘 4. “Stretching and yoga are basically the same.”
👉 Busted: Yoga is a full-body practice involving breath, flow, and sometimes strength. Assisted stretching targets isolated muscles, is one-on-one, and tailored to improve mobility and release tension.

🚷 5. “If it hurts, it’s working.”
👉 Busted: Stretching should never be painful. Discomfort = okay. Pain = red flag. You’re not tearing muscles—you’re helping them open.
