After much careful thought and deliberation, Judy and I are sad to announce that we’ve determined that Soul Shine Kitchen has become an untenable part of our business model that we can no longer continue to sustain. As such, we have made the difficult decision to close the Café at Blue Ridge effective January 31st, 2025.
We’re very grateful for having had the opportunity to serve the community these past two years and have come to a mutual agreement with the HOA to end our tenure and move forward with an amicable understanding that allows us to continue to service the residents of Blue Ridge as an outside caterer in good standing for parties and special events.
The hours of operation these last 2 weeks will be: Sunday and Wednesday, 9 to 3, and Friday 1 to 5. We will also only be offering a limited menu on these days as we work down our inventory.
In closing, I’d like to take a moment to thank all of the amazing staff we’ve had the pleasure of working with and those who have shown us unconditional love and support throughout this part of our journey. We could not have done any of this without you, and we truly feel as if we’ve made more than a few new friends along the way. These past few weeks have been a very stressful and overwhelming stretch for us, and although we’re sad that it’s come to this, we are also both looking forward to being able to stabilize our current situations and just going back to being 2 Happy Hippies again.
