The end of July we made apple cinnamon monkey bread in cooking club, we went shopping in our activity store and had a wonderful time listening to Pastor Cory with Pinnacle Hospice sing some Hymns with us! He’s so great!

We had a busy week! Karen with advanced home health came and played Binog with us! She brought such great prizes and everyone was a winner! Swigle Mountain Brass Quintet came and preformed for us and they were amazing!! We played bingo and had a snack of green peppers that we grew on our garden, we can’t wait for the tomatoes, zucchini and squash! We’re enjoying being able to be outside we we had ice cream and colored! We ended our week with the birthday party to celebrate all of our residnets birthdays in July! We had a delicious birthday treat of peanut butter, banana, cookie, pudding layered dessert with a special guest to sing and play guitar, Elwood Kelly! A big big thank you to everyone that came and hung out with us!

Last week we took a day to have Christmas in July! 🎄We put on our festive wear and watched How the Grinch Stole Christmas, had Christmas cookies and coffee in the morning then in the afternoon we had some popcorn and a delicious green Grinch drink! Thank you to Bobbi with UPMC for coming and making colorful ice cream cones with us!

Indoor ballon volleyball was a big hit, with a break for ice cream! We had a to put on our thinking caps with state plate trivia! A game where we had to guess the state capital one round and the abbreviation the next! Some were very hard! And a big thanks to Jamie for coming and doing an auction with us! We had so much fun and were still talking about it days later!

Wow time flies when having fun! June went fast! We did indoor bowling then had BINGO outside in the beautiful weather! We planted some vegetables! Tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, zucchini, squash and cucumbers! Celebrated Judy Garland’s birthday by watching The Wizard of Oz! Thanks Melissa for the yummy ice cream.
