Pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson have confessed to deliberately suppressing decades of clinical data showing the mental health benefits of psychedelics like psilocybin and L*D.
“We realized pretty early on that one good mushroom trip could replace a lifetime of prescriptions,” said one anonymous executive. “It was bad for business, so we labeled it ‘woo woo,’ launched a massive smear campaign, and moved on.”
Leaked internal memos reveal that as early as 1958, trials showed psilocybin dramatically outperforming emerging antidepressants—but the findings were shelved “in favor of more profitable solutions like lifelong dependency.”
In a wild turn of events, the companies are now reportedly rushing to launch their own psychedelic wellness brand, tentatively titled: Feelix™ – The Trip You Can Trust.
April Fools! :) Of course, Big Pharma would never actually admit to hiding data in favor of profits ;) While the evidence around psychedelics is very real, this post is all in good fun. We hope it sparks curiosity and encourages you to explore the growing research around psychedelics and mental health. :mushroom: :brain: :sparkles: 🍄🧠✨
