Chelmsford residents Scott and Randi Davidson stopped by on Monday to meet Sergeant Steve Fredericks and Officer Aidan Gillis. Scott was found by Randi unresponsive and not breathing inside their home on January 29th. There was a very heavy snowstorm that day which impacted responders. Sgt. Fredericks and Ofc. Gillis quickly arrived and were able to take over CPR which was started by Randi with the assistance of dispatchers. One of our Zoll AED’s was utilized and Scott regained a pulse while still on scene. Great to see you doing well, Scott!

Scott and Randi urge everyone to learn CPR! You never know when you may need it. Visit the American Red Cross to find a class nearby!

Joplin SafetyNET, LLC is currently scheduling onsite CPR training for November and December. This time of year gets very bust for us. Please give us plenty of notice if you have staff expiring in the coming months so we can work with you on getting them taken care of prior to expiration.

All of our Instructors are Full Time Firefighters and Licensed EMTs. Anyone can play you the videos and check the boxes, but if you want to actually learn something, you need to be getting your training from instructors with real world experience doing real life CPR.
