We kicked off Memorial Day weekend with a fantastic time at the North Iowa Band Festival Parade! Our National Skilled Nursing Care Week King and Queen proudly represented our facility, and we had a blast handing out freezies and spreading smiles. What a great way to celebrate the holiday and our amazing residents!

This week, our staff and residents had a blast honoring National Skilled Nursing Care Week with a variety of fun and meaningful activities celebrating this year's theme of 'Tapestry of Life'!

We kicked things of with a delicious pancake bar for our amazing staff, followed by a heartwarming stroll down memory lane as we reminisced with baby photos of residents and staff. Midweek, we brought back the magic of prom with a full 'glam bar' where residents got their hair and makeup done - and then enjoyed games and laughter together!

To top off our prom fun, we crowned our Prom King and Queen, who will proudly ride with us in the North Iowa Band Fest parade next Saturday!

We also planted flowers to brighten up our Gazebo area, and shared smiles and sweet memories over some wedding cake tasting.

We wrapped up this incredible week with a retirement cookout of hot dogs and hamburgers served with potato salad and baked beans - a perfect way to celebrate the amazing team and community we have.

A huge thank you to the wonderful food trucks that came by and treated everyone to some fantastic food. We're so grateful for the community support and the joy shared throughout the week!

Today, we kick off a week long celebration for National Skilled Nursing Care Week! This year's theme of 'Tapestry of Life' highlights the meaningful stories that make up each person's journey in skilled nursing care. Everyone contributes a unique thread to this vibrant tapestry, from residents and families, to caregivers and staff, and beyond to our communities. Together, the dedication, care, and love from all creates a vibrant 'Tapestry' of our home!

Your time, talents, and heart mean the world to us all- and your visits always brighten our days. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Last week our residents had a great time preparing for our Community Easter Egg-stravaganza! We filled Easter eggs, and prepared Easter cookies and colored frosting for our community. The residents had a wonderful time watching children search for eggs, and even pointed out some golden eggs with special prizes. Thank you to everyone that attended our Easter Egg hunt, and the Easter bunny for stopping by for some pictures!
