Toward the end of July, Robert Thomas invited me to Sweden to join the Masters USA Track and Field team of 600 US athletes for their World Masters Athletics Championship. I got to be part of an incredible staff (Ena Weinstein, Marie Valdez, Kristin Elizabeth Cardin, Ricky Douglas, and Johnny) of super knowledgeable ATs, PTs, and MTs to serve athletes aged 35-100 for the two week event. I got to massage athletes of all kinds - world record holders, 90 yr old sprinters, former Olympic throwers, first-time competitors, those recovering from injuries doing the physical and mental work, distance runners who’ve ran every day for 7 years consistently, repeat medalists, I could go on. It was one of the coolest experiences of my career. Aside from getting to experience another culture, which was amazing; I got to share space and energy with the most inspiring athletes, body workers, and leaders. Feeling so honored and excited to bring this experience back to my world. Thank you for having me USATF. Thank you again to the athletes, physio staff, and Robert for having me. ♥️🙏🏼
