So many times I sit and think about what others do and how I can help them.

When I should be saying is “Let Them”

If you need someone to help you navigate this world of ours and help you work through problems that seem unfair or unproductive, let’s chat.

I’ve got a program that will help you work through it and ultimately “Let Them”.

P.s. I’ve read this book three times and it is amazing! Check it out and tell me what you think in the comments.

Let’s talk about week two of Developing a Mindset of Confidence.

During week two we talk about things that happen that we cannot change, and learn how to react to them.

We talk about our response to outside forces as a choice, and whether we catch ourselves doing, and saying things we would not normally do or say and how we can overcome them.

We talk about whether you are more of a realistic person, or an optimistic person and if you can be both. And guess what, you can be!

We spend time on the fixed mindset thinker, and how we hold ourselves back and talk to ourselves. We discuss the importance of being more positive in our daily lives and how we can rephrase things when we start to slip into the negative side.

We talk about triggers and how we can work through them. What people say that will “set us off” or what we will do that turns upside down and how we can work through them to become the person we want to be.

During this week, we complete a mindset assessment and track our thoughts as homework for the week. This can be interesting to see how we speak to ourselves, and if we take time to overcome those negative thoughts.

As a bonus after work two, we set up a time for a one on one call to discuss the material. We also talk through the thoughts and feelings that you have after the first two classes.

If you are interested in setting up a call to learn more about this course let me know.

Have you chosen a word for 2024?

When we choose a word it remains your focus throughout the year. When things get tough, it helps propel us forward instead of keeping us stuck.

My word for 2024 is forward. Last year, 2023 was the toughest year, physically I have ever had. A running accident in 2016 turned into severe arthritis of my hip. From there it turned into bone on bone, no labrum in the joint and a quarter size bone spur.

On 12/26 I had a hip replacement and have been feeling so much better and look FORWARD to what 2024 holds. I am also moving FORWARD with things I have not been able to do since my injury.

So, tell me your word for 2024 and why you chose it.

This is my recovery nurse, Archie!

You have all heard me talk and post about Developing a Mindset of Confidence. So I thought I would share with you what the first week of my four week course looks like.

During week one we look at external locus and internal locus of control. We work with our biases toward action and inaction.

We talk about the growth mindset, and how people who have a growth mindset are more resilient, and are better able to cope with failure and keep moving forward.

We do an exercise to find out if you have a growth mindset or a fixed mindset and what you can do if you have a fixed mindset to be more growth mindset oriented.

We look at awareness and how we can become more aware of our self talk. What fixed mindset triggers we have, and we talk about the power of our internal voice, how it will never go away, and that we have to learn to live with it.

As we close out week one, we take time to reflect, take time to journal our thoughts and feelings about how we feel about the exercises we participated in during week one.

And of course, we have homework, so we talk about things for you to do between our meetings to help you learn more about yourself.

If this sounds like something you are interested in, or would like more information about, please reach out. I’ll be happy to chat with you.

If you are part of a group, and would like to see how this can be done in a group setting, let’s chat.

Think of this course as a personal and professional growth opportunity.

Make it A Great Day! 💗
