Anyone that follows this barbershop knows that I never comment on my professional page about anything other than loving this community, updating you when we will not be here and inviting you in for a great haircut.

I’ve been doing this for a while now and over the years I’ve had a few clients pass away. It’s always sad and some hurt more than others, regardless of whether it was expected or not.

With that being said, I am absolutely heartbroken to learn that a child I’ve known for years has tragically passed away in a traffic accident. He was just here. He sat in my chair and on that day he decided to pour his heart out about family and things that him, his brother and his mother have been through. I extended an invitation for him to come in anytime he needed to talk, or wanted a place to hang out. That was just a few days ago and now he’s no longer here.

His brother, from my understanding is in critical condition and needs your prayers. Their whole family needs them. It’s an unimaginable loss.

I’m saying all this because my heart hurts. It hurts for what might have been. It hurts because they were all so young. It hurts because I have children. If you have children, hug them, love them, be there for them.
