Returning to staff this year: Paul!💪🏼
Paul is very dedicated to the disability and veteran community — he’s a prolific volunteer, and an amazing mentor to our youth. Last year, Paul formed a mini powerlifting group at camp and, this year, will be doing a cooking demo for our delegates!🎉

Returning this year as staff: Alaina!✨
Alaina is a friendship bracelet and sign making connoisseur. She’s always encouraging others around her, and brings a lot of lightness, happiness, and fun to camp!

We want to feature Logan, a 2023 alumni, 2024 staff member, and returning staff member for 2025! Logan always brings joy and compassion where he goes, and is always a team player. We’re lucky to have him back for our upcoming camp season!

The LAYLF Team attended Disability Awareness Day at the Capitol last Monday to share information about camp✨
We even bumped into 2023 staff member Will, and staff member Mel helped us out for the day!💕

Huge thanks to Lisa Libraries for their generous book donation! 📚 At camp, we make sure our shelves are filled with disability-centered stories so our campers can see themselves in the pages they read, and even take the book home if the story speaks to them!. Representation matters, and these books make a big difference. Thank you Lisa Libraries!

At LAYLF, we've been busy getting excited for camp 2025! Between staff interview and selections, and all of our delegate meet-and-greets, we've been busy bees.
Just a reminder: our delegate applications are open until March 31st, so make sure to get your application in if you haven't already, and join in on the excitement for camp 2025!

At LAYLF, we have activities that challenge our delegates to think ahead about how they want their life to look like post-high school, including where they might want to live, what kind of job they might want to have, and of course, what budgeting might look like!
