After serving four years in the US Navy, Keith received his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Toledo in 1995, his Master of Medical Science degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2004 (with a concentration in advanced treatments and modalities in physical medicine), and his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the University of Saint Augustine in 2007. For six years he served as the
director of the pain rehabilitation center for a large hospital system. Keith has a strong interest in higher education and has been an adjunct professor of anatomy and physiology for nurses and other allied health students. Keith is certified in Spinal Manipulation through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, He is certified in Dry Needling, has earned his Diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy and is a Certified Clinical Instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. He has been an approved educator for MD’s, DO’s, RN’s, Nurse Practitioners, and PA’s. Additional accomplishments include publication in the peer reviewed journal “Clinical Kinesiology”. Keith has lived in Carteret County for 15 years. Keith’s passion for quality patient care inspired him to open Newport Osteopractic Physical Therapy in January 2023. Keith’s clinical interests focus primarily on outpatient orthopedic physical therapy with a special interest in acute spine pain. Keith and his wife, who is a Speech-Language Pathologist, have one child. Keith’s personal interests include close up magic and sports fishing.
