Tim began working in the industry in 2004 with corporate wellness initiatives and exercise prescription for family and friends. After graduating from Case Western in Cleveland, Ohio, he enrolled in the Masters of Public Health program through NEOUCOM in order to positively affect the health of the community and work in the area of prevention. After graduating from the University of Akron (NEOUCOM Consortium) he accepted a position as a health coach for WebMD Health Services (www.webmd.com) and and quickly gained more and more responsibilities including coach training, presentations, and revamping the evaluation process. Following a short, yet successful stint as a Wellness Coordinator for CIGNA, Tim decided it was finally time to leave corporate America and become an entrepreneur. It began with personal training in homes around Huron and Erie Counties, virtual training, and the first-ever boot camp class of its kind at the Norwalk Reservoir. After several successful 6-week boot camp sessions, Phitness 4:13 moved into the Avery Commerce Park (plaza across from EHOVE). Known for their intense, creative (ever-changing), functional-focused workouts; community service; and Christian/positive/non-judgmental atmosphere. The Phitness 4:13 Fitness Center closed it doors on March 29, 2014 but the Phitness 4:13 Phamily continues to support each other no matter which gym (or home gym) they train at. This page now serves a more global purpose - to continue the ideals that were often displayed within the walls of the fitness center. Additionally, we aim to provide information and support (including workout demonstrations, nutrition guidance, etc.) Phitness 4:13 continues to thrive due to God's grace and a strong, loyal member base.
