✨Meet Emergency Room Physician, Dr. Darrigan✨
Dr. David Darrigan is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 18 years of experience. His expertise lies in revitalizing and transforming emergency departments and hospitals — from small rural facilities to major urban centers.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Darrigan has led efforts to improve emergency department performance, cutting patient wait times, raising quality standards, and boosting overall patient satisfaction. He is also no stranger to Texoma, having worked in the region periodically since 2012, and now spending part of his time in Pottsboro.

Dr. Darrigan stresses that while the hospital building may look the same, what’s inside has changed entirely — with new ownership, new leadership, and a clear vision for the future. He is confident the community will welcome this new beginning and the renewed commitment to care at Sherman Medical Center.
