So very true! But everyone with tinnitus needs to have an evaluation first to rule out any medical problem! Something as simple as earwax to something as complicated as a benign cyst on your hearing nerve can cause tinnitus!

If you have ringing in one or both ears, it’s imperative to get your hearing checked ! 👂👂

"Once you understand what’s happening inside your nervous system during these moments, you can begin to work with your body instead of fighting against it. And when your expectations match your physiology, your coping tools will not only seem more effective, but more reliable as well."

This column explains what’s happening in the nervous system during tinnitus related anxiety and how that knowledge can help manage your symptoms. https://ow.ly/3u1T50XTbuK

With the holiday season in full swing, it's essential to consider how we can uplift one another. Research shows that 1 in 10 people with hearing loss experience depression. As holiday activities increase, it’s crucial to address this issue. The effort and exhaustion associated with hearing loss can lead to withdrawal from social events, family gatherings, religious services, and other activities. Individuals with hearing loss may feel isolated due to the difficulties in effective communication. Therefore, take the time to reach out to your loved ones. Better yet, encourage them to get their hearing evaluated by scheduling a complimentary consultation at Expert Hearing. 912-777-8580
