🩵 Supporting Perinatal Mental Health

Clay County Medical Center was proud to host a presentation by Taryn Zweygardt, LCSW, on perinatal mental health, in collaboration with the Clay County Health Department.

The session provided valuable insight for healthcare professionals on recognizing, understanding, and supporting the mental health needs of mothers and fathers during and after pregnancy.

We’re grateful to Taryn for sharing her expertise and to all who attended for their dedication to improving care for families in our community. 💙

🏥 Big news for Clay County and North Central Kansas!

Clay County Medical Center, in partnership with Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Center, is proud to announce that orthopaedic services are expanding at Clay Center Family Physicians this November. Our first-ever total joint replacement surgery is scheduled for December! 👏

This milestone means patients will soon be able to receive hip, knee, and shoulder care, including joint replacements, right here in Clay Center, without having to travel out of town.

Our orthopaedic team includes:

Clay County Medical Center is proud to share that our CEO, Austin Gillard, FACHE, has been elected to serve on the Kansas Hospital Association (KHA) Board of Directors! 👏

The KHA represents hospitals and health systems statewide, working to strengthen healthcare delivery and improve patient outcomes across Kansas.

Since joining CCMC in 2015, Austin has led efforts to expand specialty services, modernize facilities, and enhance access to care in north-central Kansas. 🏥

“It’s an honor to be elected to the KHA Board of Directors,” said Gillard. “I look forward to representing CCMC and working with other healthcare leaders to ensure hospitals across Kansas continue providing high-quality, accessible care.”
