MaineHealth Memorial Hospital welcomes Griffin Kopp CRNA to our pain management practice. He joins a team specializing in diagnosing and treating chronic and acute pain through a combination of medical, procedural, and therapeutic approaches to help patients improve function and quality of life.

Kopp is a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University and Radford University. He will provide operative anesthesia and non-surgical pain management services.

As a member of our team, Kopp is also part of large network of exceptional health care professionals in the MaineHealth system.

We were honored to welcome U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen yesterday for a tour and conversation with our president and several dedicated providers. Her visit focused on understanding how the recent budget reconciliation bill may shape the future of care for our patients and community.

Please Note: Our weekly Baby & Me Support Group will not meet this Friday, August 15. We hope you'll join us for our next class on Friday, August 22 from 9–11!

This welcoming, supportive group is open to all parents and babies up to one year old. Connect with other parents, share your experiences, ask questions, and receive guidance from our Family Birth Center team. Breastfeeding support is also available.

and Internal Medicine & Pediatrics practice. She joins a care team that cares for patients of all ages, offering checkups, managing chronic conditions, and treating everyday illnesses to help keep families healthy.

Wrobel is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Granite State College, and White Mountains Community College. She served at Speare Primary Care (Plymouth, N.H.) and was previously a med-surg RN at Memorial Hospital and a nurse in Memorial's Merriman House.

Golf Balls for a Cause

Meet Teddy (left) and Boyd, two young community members who turned a simple idea into a big impact.

Throughout the year, they collect and clean gently used golf balls, then sell them to help support causes close to their hearts. Last week, they were at our annual golf open. Thanks to their efforts, along with a matching donation from Chef's Bistro and a generous gift from Shelley O’Donnell, they raised an incredible $1,660 to support our new Interfacility Transport Service at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital. This dedicated ambulance service will streamline patient transfers to hospitals, nursing homes, and rehab facilities. It will reduce delays, free up emergency beds, and improve outcomes for our patients.

MaineHealth Memorial Hospital welcomes Isabella Lacarbonara PA-C to our Orthopedics and Sports Medicine practice. She joins an team diagnosing and treating patients with a variety of musculoskeletal injuries including joint replacement, broken limbs, and major and minor sprains.

She brings experience in internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, and orthopedics from NYC-area hospitals, and holds degrees from the University of Mt. Saint Vincent, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Mercy College.
