🎤Bodymindspirit PODCAST - Author Interview with Nikki Kenward (Part 2)

In this second part of the interview, Nikki and Eric go a bit "bigger picture" after part 1 and talk about the future of therapy with this kind of gut awareness, the idea of post traumatic gut, suggestions for befriending your gut, and what kind of intelligence might arise out of the complex interactions between our gut brains and our cerebral brains. Hope you enjoy!

🎧 PODCAST SINGLES - BeReal, The Podcast, Seasonal Affective Disorder

Diana Gasperoni and Ednesha Saulsbury are the dynamic hosts of BeReal, The Podcast. They are both psychotherapists in New York and they started recording together in March 2020 and have been busy bringing a wide variety of guests and topics to the table all within the frame of mental health.

Topics like imposter syndrome, racial trauma, yoga during pregnancy, the importance of laughter, parenting issues, couples therapy, grief, and even business marketing for therapists. They dove deep into issues affecting all of us throughout 2020 and beyond it. Each host brings her own expertise, humor, and tons of warmth to these interviews and topics.

While they typically host a guest, this episode is about the often misunderstood Seasonal Affective Disorder and includes Ednesha and Diana in conversation sharing their knowledge of and potential treatment plans for S.A.D. They do spontaneously welcome Ednesha's partner, who suffers from S.A.D., who generously shares his personal coping strategies.

This single episode was originally recorded in September 2021. We hope you enjoy it!

😊 BLOG - Bodymind Resilience, by Eric Moya Cst-D, Ms/Mfct.
"Resilience
First off, resilience is a very hot topic in contemporary psychotherapy. I think it is an attractive word and an easy quality for everyone to want. It’s also a really easy word to help make sense of trauma recovery and from life’s adversity."
"... one of my favorite ways of understanding resilience is as “the capacity of individuals to navigate their way to . . . . resources to sustain well-being”

👀 VIDEO - Case Presentation for written and oral.

This video provides a basic framework for when we present a client case to colleagues and offers a format to use when writing up a case presentation for a publication or course work (like SIBT final projects). The format enables you to organize the information in a helpful way for you seeking feedback and the consulting practitioner.
It also offers a great process for practitioners to use when reviewing your own progress with clients.

Watch and listen to it in under 10mins.
