These findings have been cited in various per-reviewed medical, a physiological, and public health journals throughout the U.S. Educational requirements for chiropractors are among the most stringent in the health care prof3essions. A chiropractic student has four years of pre-medical undergraduate college education,. Once accepted into an accredited chiropractic college, the requirement are five additional academic years of study. Chiropractors can diagnose and treat health care problems, as well as refer patients to other health care practitioners when appropriate.
