CLASS is celebrating 50 years of serving individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities in Southeast Kansas. We are spotlighting some of the incredible individuals who have been and continue to be part of our journey.

Today, we introduce you to Joyce.

Joyce has been with CLASS practically from day one. Her parents were among the early advocates for services as they wanted more for Joyce and others than what was available in our area at the time. Joyce’s parents were instrumental in the creation of the Pittsburg/Crawford County ARC, an organization that was the precursor to CLASS. Joyce’s father was also a member of the Board of Directors for CLASS for many years.
