Her work reminds us that supporting breastfeeding is about more than milk, it's about connection, empowerment and lasting health for families. Let her work inspire our mission here at MVBN- ensuring every family has access to skilled, compassionate lactation support and a community that values and protects breastfeeding ❤️

Do you have a passion for supporting breastfeeding families?

We invite you to join us for a few hours as a volunteer during our Annual World Breastfeeding Week Celebration at the Utica Zoo on August 7th, 2024.

We are looking for 5-10 dedicated volunteers to assist with set-up, guide our guests, support families, help with clean-up, and more.

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with the Mohawk Valley Breastfeeding Network team, learn about our non-profit work, and see how together we can enhance the health and well-being of new families in our community.

Back in April we hosted a training for 11 black women who are passionate about helping other women through pregnancy & childbirth, to become doulas!! ...and now they are all undergoing my business mentorship program, creating more black-women-owned businesses in our area!! I'm so proud of these women for sticking with it and they soon will be launching their very own doula businesses!! 💪🏽💪🏽
