Oh My Goodness!

I was reminded about this when a friend asked me for my recipe!!!!

Note: this is wonderful for St Patrick's Day, but seriously, it's delicious every single day!

Sharing my Irish friend, Eileen's annual post and her love of this Irish Bread recipe. If you have a Bountiful Beer Bread in your cupboard, give it a try! (If you need some Bountiful Beer Bread Mix, you know where to get it! Year Round!)

Amazing Irish Beer Bread... Here's the recipe, and her photo!

In a large bowl combine 1 1/2 cups of any kind of milk with 1 1/2 cups of raisins. Let them soak for about an hour. (It makes the raisins more plump.) Add the Bountiful Beer Bread mix and stir until wet and dry are combined. Place in a greased loaf pan. Melt 2 Tbsp. of butter, and drizzle on top of the bread. Place in preheated 375 degree oven for 55 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy plain, toasted or with butter.
