This is how I feel about my clients.
There are friends who won't need an explanation. You'll cancel plans and they'll say "rest well." You'll disappear for a bit and they'll text, "I'm here when you're ready." That kind of love-the quiet, flexible, non-ego kind, that's rare. And it's enough to make this life feel a little less heavy.
These friends are the ones who understand that sometimes life gets overwhelming, and you need space. They don't take it personally or get offended. Instead, they offer a gentle presence, a listening ear, and a comforting word.
They show up consistently, not demanding or expecting anything in return. Their love and support are not transactional; they're a gift. And in a world that can be harsh and unforgiving, their kindness and empathy are a balm to the soul.
With friends like these, you feel seen, heard, and understood. You feel like you can be yourself, without pretenses or apologies. You feel like you can breathe a little easier, knowing that you're not alone.
These relationships are a reminder that love and connection are possible, that there are people who care about your well-being and happiness. And that's a beautiful thing. It's a reminder that life is worth living, that there are good people in this world who will show up for you when you need them most.
