I can help you make a birth plan it can help going over it with your midwife or provider and having a copy for the birth team to refer to. You do not need one though I will be there to make sure your wishes are honored. Its important to remember things do not quite to as planned in labor it may be fast or slow. Uncomplicated or complications can occur.
I bring tools like honey sticks, oils and lighting as well as other things to use in labor. Squeezing a simple comb can help take your mind off of a contraction. The most valuable tool is my hands and my presents.

A little about me-
I am from Garden City and reside in Cimarron currently. My 4 boys are my world! My labors have all been unique and I learned so much from these experiences. 1st was about 27 hours with no epidural or Pitocin and ended in a cesarean section. Since I have had 3 VBACS!!! Offered here in southwest KS. Some labors I had no meds and some I did. My last was a VBAC induction and went perfectly. I have had doula support myself and other labors did not.
I serve the Southwest KS area. I have been on breastfeeding collations and known in the area as a doula since 2012. Kearney County Hospital and St. Catherine Hospital have both been very welcoming to me while at a labor. I am there to help the whole birthing team guide you through labor and meeting your new bundle! I am continuing to expand training and education to provide the best possible care.
Client Review-
Alicia and Bryan Shafer - Delivery at Kearny County Hospital
SaSha came over to our house for a consultation. Explained everything very well. Gave suggestions on what essential oils would help with relaxation, and which one would be good to help with labor. She also said to try an exercise ball and yoga mat to do some exercises. The exercises were to help with hips and discomfort! One of my favorite parts was when she would rub the lavender and grape seed oil mix together on my feet and chest it smelled so good! She went to some of my appointments with me. Attended both of my sonograms.
She met my husband and I in Lakin the night that we thought or son was going to come. She was there with us till we were released to go home, due to not progressing fast enough to keep me. So the next day her and I spent a good part of the together walking around stores.
Then finally we gave her a wake up call early in the morning to meet us back at the hospital. She walked the hallway with me for a while. She also helped me into the tub there in my room, and sat there beside me till I was ready to get out. All the while she encouraged me all the way. She kept telling that I was doing a really good job.
I was able to go through labor and delivery with no pain meds with wonderful and awesome heart and soul of SaSha! She did an amazing job! I would recommend her to anybody that I know!
Thank you, SaSha!
