The MGH Charlestown Community Healthcare Center is committed to providing patients and their families with health education that is individualized for their culture, age and literacy level. Sweet Patient and Family Learning Center is located on the first floor of the health center and can offer you brochures, group teaching sessions and/or an individualized teaching session with our Health Educator. We can help you understand more about health, illness, treatment choices, and how to communicate with your healthcare providers. As part of the world renowned MGH, we have been bringing the hospital's excellent health care services to our neighbors in Charlestown since 1968. By working closely with local schools and community organizations, we provide programs that truly benefit our city's culturally diverse population. MGH Charlestown offers the best of one of America's top hospitals right in your own neighborhood. You have access to all of MGH's expertise, leading-edge technologies and clinical trials of promising discoveries. All of our physicians are on the staff of Mass General and the faculty of Harvard Medical School. Whether you need an adult or pediatric primary care physician, a specialist or a counselor, you can rely on our health care professionals to provide you with personalized care. We have services to help you when you are ill and programs designed to keep you well. We can provide you with information on how to access financial programs through our Navigation Department.

April is alcohol awareness month and it is used to raise public awareness and understanding about alcohol use, alcohol use disorder (AUD), and the impact of alcohol misuse on individuals, families, and communities.

Take home a variety of vegetable, herb, and flower seeds to plant in your own backyard (or windowsill pot). No library card required!
