🌟 Early Intervention is here for South Arkansas! 🌟

Early Intervention, through Arkansas’ First Connections program, is a statewide program that provides many different services to help children under 3 with developmental delays. These can include speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, developmental therapy, and more.

In Calhoun and Union counties, Kidsource Therapy is proud to bring Developmental Therapy and caregiver coaching at no cost to families.

Why Early Intervention Matters

The first three years of life are a time of incredible brain growth. During this stage, children build the foundation for learning, communication, movement, and relationships. Early Intervention takes advantage of this critical window- helping children make progress more quickly, reducing future challenges, and empowering families with tools to support development every day.

Our developmental therapists focus on the whole child- helping with communication, movement, play, social-emotional skills, problem-solving, and independence- while also coaching parents and caregivers on how to support growth during everyday routines.

If a child needs additional services (like speech, OT, or PT), we’ll help families connect with trusted local partners who can provide that care.

🎀✂️ Today’s the day! We celebrated our official ribbon cutting at our brand-new Conway clinic with the Conway Chamber of Commerce, families, and friends. 💙

We’re so excited to continue serving Conway, Greenbrier, and the surrounding communities with family-focused pediatric therapy - right here in our new space!

Backpacks? Check. Fresh crayons? Check. Doing a happy dance in the drop-off line? Double check.

With the Back-To-School themed therapy week officially wrapped up- that concludes our Summer Theme Weeks- and what an amazing summer it’s been! These kiddos have worked hard, made progress, and had a blast along the way. ✨

From jungle vines (aka veggie straws) to outer space adventures, every week was packed with creativity, laughter, and learning. Check out our photos from last week's final theme week!

Rain or shine, our Weather Theme Week was a forecast full of fun!

Last week our little weather-watchers were hard at work - learning, laughing, and maybe summoning a tiny bit of indoor thunder.

Our therapists turned therapy sessions into full-on weather adventures and let’s be honest…with last week’s temps finally dropping, we’re starting to think all that weather-themed therapy may have actually cooled things down. Coincidence? We think not. 😉

We love getting to bring big fun into therapy - because when kids are engaged, they’re learning skills that stick.

The award recognizes individuals who are working to lessen the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and community trauma on children - something we care about deeply at Kidsource.

Because when families go through hard things - a crisis, instability, loss, or trauma - it can shape the way a child grows, learns, and connects with others. But with the right support, kids can heal. Families can rebuild. And we believe in walking that journey with them.

Penny and Corey would be the first to say: This recognition belongs to all of you.

🚀🪐 Outer Space Theme Week Was Out of This World! 🌟👩‍🚀

Last week, our clinics launched into a galaxy of fun during Outer Space Theme Week - and our little astronauts did stellar work while shooting for the stars!

🌿🦜 Rainforest Week = Wildly Wonderful! 🐸🍃

Last week, our clinics transformed into lush jungles full of fun, learning, and just the right amount of monkey business! From hopping around in frog masks to going on animal scavenger hunts through the clinics - and even snacking on jungle vines (a.k.a. veggie straws!) - our kiddos dove headfirst into the rainforest fun. 🌧️🍃

Last week, our therapy rooms transformed into high seas adventures as we set sail for Pirate Theme Week - and let us tell you, it was ARRR-mazing! From treasure hunts and cannonball games to “walking the plank” balance challenges, our little buccaneers worked hard and had a blast doing it.

We’re so proud of these brave therapy pirates for showing up, having fun, and sailing full speed ahead toward their goals!
