Once again, Drs aren't telling you the truth on purpose and just trying to sell prescriptions or they just don't care enough to learn.
It's quite simple
Our bone strength is directly related to muscle strength, this drug will have you eating less BUTA eating less will mean less protein and inevitably less protein will lead to less muscle and less muscle leads to weak bones.
Think about older people, most aren't working out and most are visibly smaller, weaker and frail. What happens when older people fall? Broken bones, this is caused by a weak body.
You should be doing everything you can to stay as strong as possible as you age. Plenty of protein and strength training.
There are some supplements that can help (check my stories) but nothing can replace strength training and protein
