We want to thank Dr. Timothy Bjelland for his 35 years of service to our center. He will be retiring this year. Staff presented him with a plaque, thanking him for his service and wishing him well in his next chapter. We will miss you Dr. Bjelland! ♥

We have another staff member to celebrate this week!

Brooklyn Gruen is our July "Employee of the Month." She is a CNA and joined our team in June. She was nominated for this honor because of her strong work ethic, kindness, and taking time out of her busy day to ensure the residents receive extra attention and care.

Thank you Brooke for everything you do. We are so lucky to have you! 👍👍👍

Congrats to CNA Becky Hahn for being named our June "Employee of the Month." She has been on our team for four months.

Becky picks up a lot of extra shifts, stays late as needed, and has a great attitude. One person noted that she "was very good at explaining to each resident any procedures to be done ahead of time. She is very thorough!"

Thanks Becky for being such a superstar at Elroy Health Services! 👏👏👏

If you ever need proof that Elroy Health Services is based on community, look no further than Ethel and Tony.

Resident Ethel May Baldwin turned 92 this week! Family and friends made a sign for her room and we got her balloons. She had lots of visitors, but perhaps her favorite was Social Services Director Tony Green.

Tony shares a birthday with Ethel and has known her for years, going back to childhood. He has always made it a point to visit Ethel and give her a birthday hug, even before he joined our team and Ethel became a resident.

Happy birthday to both of these amazing people. We not only celebrate them, but the unique bond they've formed as friends! 🎂🎊🎈

We are celebrating our "champions" for National Nursing Assistants Week, which runs from June 12-18! This week recognizes the contributions of Certified Nursing Assistants, who play a crucial role in providing quality healthcare and support to residents.

Family Dinner on Friday was a great success, with 32 family members coming together for our 11 residents. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special!

We are sponsoring a local high school race car this year, Peyton Payne Racing. She races in the High School Racing Association with Royall School District. Peyton is the 15-year-old daughter of one of our nurses and is in her second year of racing. She brought the car to the center to show our residents and staff!
