A preliminary clinical study provided patients with insomnia 3 different doses of CBD compared to a placebo (40 mg, 80 mg, and 160 mg). Patients receiving 160 mg dose of CBD reported sleeping longer.

Studies also show that up to 1500 mg of CBD per day is well tolerated in humans.
