Exiting News: Concert Venues Are Becoming Sensory Friendly
Live Nation Concerts and KultureCity have teamed up to make live music more accessible for fans with sensory processing needs. Through this partnership, 25 Live Nation venues in the U.S. and Canada have earned the “Sensory Inclusive” designation.
Staff at these venues receive specialized training. Each venue now offers sensory bags equipped with noise-reducing headphones, fidget tools, cue cards, and strobe-reduction glasses. Venues also provide clear maps, quiet zones, and online tools like social stories to help fans know what to expect before arrival.
This is a huge step forward in making live entertainment inclusive for people with autism, PTSD, dementia, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other sensory-related needs.
