This is the time of year to look back and reflect upon the successes and the failures this year. The Recovery Radio Network has had a year filled with success. We reached people in 150 different countries with our message of recovery. People downloaded our podcast more than 4,000,000 times! This success is a blessing but, it also comes with challenges. The time involved and the infrastructure required become more burdensome as we grow. This is where you come in. Please take a minute and donate to our current fundraiser so we can grow into the solution we all need. The problem is much larger than we are and we need your help.

Something to think about this Holiday season, Gratitude in Abundance!

I just posted our 3900th episode to the pre-release database, and it will be published later this spring. It was part of a set of cassette tapes left in the coffee bar at 405 Oak by the family of a recently deceased member. Spotted by an eagle-eyed volunteer, the collection found it's way to Recovery Radio and is slowly being turned into digital media for the whole world to enjoy.
Recovery Radio's slogan is:" Communication - Connection - Recovery" and it looks like it is working.

Last year was an Amazing year for Recovery Radio. Our audio files were downloaded over 3,000,000 times! Our mission to provide Peer Support to recovering individuals seems to have found a place among recovering peoples daily lives.
Stay tuned for additional information coming soon about our new efforts to engage the Recovery Community. It's an exciting time here at the Recovery Radio Network with several new projects in the works. We will keep you informed as they develop.

Another year has passed and what a year it was! Both pandemics continue to rage, Covid and Opioid. Each setting records for number of deaths this year. We received our shots and boosters for Covid which, along with masking and social distancing, is about all we can do to combat that particular situation.
The Opioid pandemic claimed over 100,000 lives this year, a truly disturbing statistic but, we were able to be a little more proactive combating that issue. The Recovery Radio Network speakers have been downloaded over 1.7 million times this year and the pace has been growing as well. Our yearly average is about 5000 downloads per day but, over the last month we are averaging over 7100 downloads per day! The Holiday season is always a stressful time for many people, and when you add in the isolation of the pandemic, it only becomes more so.
Now we are suffering two diseases of Isolation. Thank God for Zoom and Recovery Radio, two ways to combat personal isolation. Get on Zoom and go to a meeting. Download Recovery Radio and hear some experience strength and hope!
Next year will be better!
