🌿 My current PPD client grows her own herbs and wildflowers in her garden.

🪴 During the day when I’m not with her she wears her newborn and spends time healing in her garden.

🌸When I arrived for my overnight shift last night she told me that she and the baby picked me an edible arrangement to enjoy over my weekend off!

🥗She took the time to write down and label each one of the herbs, flowers and foliage they picked for me, highlighting what was edible,and ideas on how to use them. She described a summer salad that I will make for myself and my fiance this weekend using all of the herbs and flowers.

🥰 How it touches me to know that while she is healing in her garden on her sacred postpartum journey, she is thinking of me.

😔 What she doesn’t know is that my maternal heart has been through a lot this week and month , and her kindness to me brought a smile where tears have been falling.

🍃Mother’s Mothering and healing each other through nature is the very best medicine of all!

An unexpected mid contract surprise! As I was handing off the babe to his momma at the end of my 6am shift this morning, she whispered; the flowers by the door are yours to take home.
What a lovely and wonderful way to end a midweek night shift.
This talented and creative postpartum mom is an interior and garden designer . I love her whimsical and boho themed arrangements. She has these little touches throughout her home, where she forages her own flowers and foliage and puts together pure flower fairy magic!

It’s almost been ten years since I took a chance on myself and followed my dream to become a doula and open my own agency.

I’ve been happily soothing, swaddling, diapering and doting on your babies for almost a decade now!

I put in very long hours, untouchable dedication, reliability and so much love into my doula career!

My work calendar is filled up with postpartum clients eight months in advance. My doula business is full of continued growth and is ever thriving…

But I did not make this journey happen alone. Nor did I make all of this baby bliss a reality without the support and encouragement that I’ve found from my community!!

You all have stood by me, believed in me, cheered me on through your word of mouth referrals, reposts and repeat client contracts.

I want to express my gratitude and a heartfelt thank you for all that you do- and have done to help me grow my small female owned business into a thriving , sustainable, successful dream job, one that I am very proud to call Labor and Lullabies!

This review truly touches my heart , just as this family did. A little extra special because this momma was referred to me by her amazing sister whose twins I cared for during the height of Covid.

Keeping it all in the family just sweetens the connection even more for me!

Hi I’m Miss Lisa and I’m a nighttime postpartum doula. I specialize in overnight newborn care for singletons and multiples. I provide in-home support for families after the birth of their baby, I focus on helping parents get restful sleep while caring for their newborn overnight. I assist with feedings (breast or bottle), diaper changes, soothing, and establishing healthy safe sleep patterns. Additionally, I offer light house chores like tidying the nursery, doing baby laundry, sterilizing and washing bottles and pump parts, and providing emotional support. 
While as my client , and in my care I provide you with only the best newborn and postpartum resources available in your community.
My goal is to establish a happy and healthy fourth trimester experience for you!
