Through massage the nervous system is calmed, allowing better communication with the organs, helping them to operate more effectively. To heal our mental health epidemic, we have to heal our bodies.

Our central nervous system needs the amino acids in protein to function at its best. Our brain needs protein to make neurotransmitters and neuromodulators.

Our glucose levels deeply impact our ability to regulate our emotions and mood. Protein helps stabilize our blood sugar.

If you’re feeling stuck in freeze (depressive symptoms) or fight or flight try eating a protein rich breakfast. Be consistent and notice if you respond to situations differently. This is especially important for children and their mental wellness. Begin the habits young.

The promotion of cereal and sugary breakfast goes against our evolutionary needs.

Notice how your body calms without the glucose spikes. Notice how your brain fog fades and your thinking is sharp when you focus on nutrient dense (natural) foods. Notice you can regulate your emotions in a new way.

The right therapist for my space will be responsible for bringing their own clients, oils, booking, point of sale, current massage license, business license, and liability insurance.
