When I (Ahn) first started exploring coding - years back - one of the first visions I had was an AI that could help people process their feelings. A companion that would get to know your needs, your personal patterns, your goals. To be able to provide real support to people, in real-time. Someone to check in with you and provide a listening ear.
I already had some plans in the works for how to make this emotional AI a reality. But when LLMs (large language models) started really developing last year, it completely transformed my plans. I immediately started building Pearson, to get this emotional care technology in people's hands as soon as possible.
