Should you be doing cardio or weights?

As long as you’re cleared by a doctor and don’t have a specific health concerns limiting your movement, we are proponents for a mix of cardio and weights.

🫀Cardio is great for heart health and also helps burn calories and promote weight loss.

🏋️Weights help build muscle mass and promote bone density (which is a great way to fight against the natural effects of aging which include muscle loss and bone density loss)

Each form of exercise has a little crossover (for example walking is weight bearing so you are helping your bone density some), but when combining both types you get the best of both worlds!

One of the big benefits of having a personal trainer is having someone right there with you counting and holding you accountable to keep pushing until you’ve reached your goal.

A personal trainer can also help you find a plan that pushes you, but is also realistic and enjoyable.

While our Adult Parkour classes are taking a break through the hot summer months, we are offering personal training in a larger gym in Kilgore with A/C instead of our garage gym.
