You're not burned out because you're weak.
You're burned out because you've been running your nervous system like a machine that doesn't need maintenance and nobody ever told you that wasn't sustainable.
You scheduled the meeting. The carpool. The follow-up email at 10pm.
You didn't schedule the part where your body gets to stop bracing.
That's not a calendar problem. That's a nervous system problem.
And it's not fixed by a weekend. Or a glass of wine. Or sleeping in on Saturday.
It's fixed by teaching your body, on a cellular level, that the threat is over.
That's what sound does. That's what stillness does. That's what 90 minutes with no one needing anything from you does.
You don't have to talk about your feelings. You don't have to explain yourself. You just have to show up and lie down.
You don't have to figure out the rest. Your body remembers.
