Canker Sores vs. Cold Sores. So, what’s the difference? 👀

🦷 Canker sores (aphthous ulcers):
• Show up inside your mouth
• White or yellow in color
• NOT contagious
• Often caused by stress, irritation, or minor injury

🦠 Cold sores (fever blisters):
• Show up outside the mouth (lips/nose)
• Fluid-filled blisters
• VERY contagious
• Caused by the HSV-1 virus
