My entire life it seemed as if the universe was gently nudging me in the direction of yoga. So as I got older and began to discover yoga I was intrigued to find something that fit me so perfectly. A yoga practice offers a way to take care of the body, keep the mind calm and at ease, provide subtle life lessons, and introduce one to a spiritual connection to their own divine self. My yoga practice has been largely self-taught, while using all available resources I have at hand. Learning in this way helps me to offer well balanced yoga classes that cater to the needs of individuals from all walks of life. It's not just about going deep into the poses but going deep inside yourself to let your authentic light shine. I feel honored to be able to share something I am so passionate about. My ultimate goal as a yoga teacher is to simply bring more peace and happiness into my students lives.

✨ This morning I had the joy of attending the grand opening of Be Rooted Yoga in Lexington, and what a beautiful experience it was!

I first met Lin & Randy last month and was thrilled to hear they were bringing yoga to the Lexington area. Both bring not only great experience, but also a genuine love for the practice—something that shines through in their actions and the thoughtful care they’ve poured into creating this space.

Lin’s flow this morning was the perfect balance—challenging yet accessible. I left feeling like I had both worked hard and truly relaxed, which is such a gift.

What stood out most was the sense of community. Lin & Randy clearly value connection just as much as the practice itself, and they went above and beyond to make the grand opening a meaningful event.

I’m so grateful for the intention and heart they’ve brought to this new studio, and I hope you’ll join me in supporting and welcoming them into the community. 🧘‍♀️💫

🍂 As we ease into the first week of fall, I’ve been leaning into the season’s natural rhythms — which has meant giving myself some extra space to rest and recharge. Sometimes the best thing we can do is listen to our bodies and honor that call.

I’m also working hard behind the scenes to keep learning and growing so I can show up even more fully in this work. I’m so grateful for your patience and support along the way.

May this season remind us all that it’s okay to pause, to breathe, and to flow with the cycles of change. 🌙✨

This Sunday at 6pm, we’ll gather outdoors to honor the turning of the season. The Fall Equinox invites us into balance — equal parts light and dark, stillness and change.

We’ll move gently, pause, and listen — to the air, the trees, and the subtle shifts around us. A guided meditation, accompanied by live native instrumentals, will support you in releasing what no longer serves you, cultivating gratitude, and finding a sense of calm and clarity. You can expect to leave feeling more grounded, centered, and connected — both to yourself and the natural rhythm of the season.

Come as you are. Leave feeling steady, rooted, and open to the winds of change.

In the midst of everything going on in the world, it’s easy to feel unsettled and overwhelmed, unsure of how to respond.

In moments like these, I find it helpful to turn inward and practice svādhyāya—self-reflection. Yoga teaches that much of our suffering comes from attachment: holding too tightly to what we want and pushing away what we don’t. It can leave us on a kind of inner hamster wheel, always chasing or avoiding, instead of simply meeting life as it is.

Yoga also reminds us that we are whole—body, mind, and spirit—and that nurturing that inner connection can quietly ripple outward into how we show up in the world. When we feel disconnected within, it often mirrors the disconnection we see around us.

In these heavy moments, we can:
-Pause and turn inward, practicing svādhyāya—gentle self-reflection
-Breathe deeply, move mindfully, or stretch to reconnect with the body
-Write, journal, or simply notice our thoughts to bring clarity
-Take small, compassionate actions—toward ourselves or others—that feel right in the moment

Even small steps—showing up, listening, holding space, being kind—matter. They help us move from suffering toward presence, unity, and care.
