Amy Van Daele I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #137904) and an Awareness Coach. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and an Awareness Coach.

I provide support to individuals and couples as they navigate through the process of finding or rekindling meaningful connection. I utilize my training in trauma-informed mindfulness, emotionally-focused couples therapy, mindful self-compassion, and attachment theory to help my clients identify and understand the underlying causes that shape their relationships or that make finding a partner more challenging. In my work as couples therapist, I am being supervised by Dr. Sarah Schewitz, PhD and Angela Caldwell, MA, LMFT. I support my clients in identifying and understanding their attachment style and patterns within relationships to enable them to reach a deeper level of self-awareness. Relationships provide us with "working models" of interpersonal patterns and behaviors, which we use to define the way we relate in future relationships. We call this phenomenon attachment theory. Learning about your and your partner’s attachment styles, as well as the roles that each of these play in a relationship, helps you make decisions from a more empowered perspective and better understand one another.
