✨ Today we welcomed David and Corri from the Visiting Nurses Association of Johnson County and Iowa City Hospice!

They shared valuable insight on the importance of balance and strength in preventing falls, and our residents gained practical strategies they can use every day.

From learning how to build strength to improve balance, to seeing a live demonstration on how to safely get up if a fall does occur—this session was full of tools to help our community stay strong, safe, and confident.

We look forward to bringing more programs like this that empower residents to live well and thrive. 🩵

What a jam-packed day of fun for our Village residents—both around the neighborhood and beyond! We kicked things off with a cozy outing for Scooters coffee ☕️ and hot chocolate, paired with a scenic bus ride full of smiles and chatter. This afternoon, we turned up the beat in our Fitness Drumming 🥁 class—it was a party with drumsticks! And to top it all off, residents got creative (and a little sweet) making their own yogurt parfaits 🥣 in Team Cuisine. Delicious, nutritious, and enjoyed with big smiles all around!
