Wise Wellness Wednesday: So Anxious
😵💫 Anxiety doesn’t always look like panic. It can present as perfectionism, procrastination, overthinking, or people-pleasing.
💡 Wellness Tip: When anxiety kicks in, shift from reaction to regulation. Try this:
• Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, out for 6
• Ground with your 5 senses, name:
5 things you see
4 things you can touch
3 things you hear
2 things you smell
1 thing you can taste
• Give your thoughts a name, not a home
🧠 Reminder: You are not your anxious thoughts. Just because you think it, doesn’t make it true.
✨ If anxiety feels like it’s rooted in past experiences or trauma, EMDR therapy can be a helpful tool for rewiring those patterns.
